Bkitzur, when I was trying to fix my phone with my mom putting in the code, I got a chatting app.
So I started shmuzing with this girl, and I was mamash full of taiva, at the cusp of giving in.

B’kitzur I ended up chapping that this “girl” was a scam.
We were WhatsApping, and turns out he’s a black guy! Lol!

It was absolutely insane.
What I see from here is very clear Hashgacha.
Now we see taivas and we think it’s a דבר ממשי, but really its all הבל הבלים.

You guys can’t imagine the shock when this big taiva that I had built in my mind turned out to be a black guy!

I think this is the way it always is with this sort of thing (even if its not specifically a black guy tricking you) 
I know I'm always (somehow) surprised after falling, when the illusion of what I wanted disappears its always unexpected.

Regarding the iphone, I second the comment about calling Tag. Or you can reach out direct to GenTech and they can help you.

If you want to do it yourself, there is a utility by Apple, called Apple Configurator which needs to run on a Mac, which allows much more granular settings to lockdown a iPhone using profiles.

Im using this phone when I’m home davka, so that I won’t use the unfiltered stuff here. That was the eitza I received, and it has worked to keep me off the computer.
Using this phone while being home has kept me from watching porn etc. it’s been very beneficial thus far.
The prob is that it’s not fool proof.
Its a hard place I’m in, ligit unfiltered stuff everywhere.

As far as in Yeshiva, I’ve been doing well separated from it

I’m home, feeling down, surrounded by unfiltered garbage, and not in a makom Torah. Can’t leave the house cuz of the storm (guess narrows it down to me being from one of like 5 states).
I only have one 6 year old brother home, so not much to hang with.
It’s a tough situation. So I use this phone, particularly for GYE to get me through this.
My goal here is to not masterbate or go on YouTube while home.
If I wouldn’t use this phone now at home, I’d be a dead man...

As far as Yeshiva, like I said I’ve been doing much much better being separated from it. But even still, I can be even more separate.
Its a very hard time I’m in.
Especialy cuz I’m depressed, which makes one seek dopamine to numb the pain.

Im not one to shy away from mussar, eitza, or critiques, I just think that I’m doing my best here so far, though I should def contact gentech.
My other friends are all over their computers/TVs now, and I’m trying to hold out.

Even if I was in a good place emotionally, it would still be very hard. And being depressed just adds to it.
Especialy cuz stam being home can be stressful cuz parents speak in loud voices, my brother always wants me to play video games with him, and ya...

You guys are def right that I can do even better.
But please understand that I’m trying so so hard to stay afloat here at home.
