I am writing in bec i now relize wat an addiction is. I started watching porn when a bad friwnd introduced me to it in 8th grade. Slowly i was watching more and more often even though i knew it was detrimental to my soul. Then i found out about gye an i joined the beautiful group of jewish addicts fighting together. But i didnt think i was really addicted. I thought i just continued watching bec i enjoyed it. To prove this to myself i toke upon myself the 90 day challenge. I managed to hold pretty good for about 2 weeks until i NEEDED to watch porn i NEEDED to masturbate. I was scared i saw that the addiction was in me but i didnt know how to stop it. The feeling of helplessness was overwhelming as failed that test now as i look at gye i see not only a group of addicts in i am not part of, i see a group of people who care enough about there lifes to do something and to help other also achieve this goal. Hopefully as i listen more carefully to the gye tips and advice from everyone here i am all other addicts will learn how to heal, forgive, and move on in order to help the future of jews from ever being exposed to this impurity.
