Many captains on this forum have a link in their signature that is broken, eg the GYE FAQ. in cordnoy's and Skep's signature

A similar issue occurred in November '15 when https//guardyoureyes.com/forum/recent
which I had booked marked as my gye 'home' pagewas changed to https://guardyoureyes.com/forum/recent/recent, and it was broken

An error page should not happen!
Can we please setup a simple protocol for important pages - I'm sure kenuna has this capability

It's called a '301' to rewrite the URL

3) When on chat I put my phone to vibrate so others (eg wife) don't need to 'hear' my conversation
All other apps vibrate but the chat still rings - Loud (and I don't like to change the general volume just for the chat. Vibrate should suffice, but it doesn't work for the chat... yet

My dev responded:

We can't define if phone is set to vibrate. We can disable sound instead, if you want. Should we do it?

I tested this on my phone and I found that indeed the volume of the chatrooms is seperate than the phone volume. So even if the phone is set to vibrate, the beeps will still happen. However, the solution is simple. You just need to turn the volume down when in the chat window to zero and you won't hear the beeps. Is that a big deal?

That is a big deal

When I go onto gye I often set my phone to vibrate. I will not remember to turn the volume back up when going out of vibrate mode with 1 click, and may miss calls if my ringer is off

I never change my volume levels - If I need privacy I set to vibrate. So lowering the volume for the chat isn't an option for me

I'm not such a frequent guy in the chat. So for me this isn't such a big issue

fyi, the "Recent posts" page, is different on PC than on my iPhone. On mobile all buttons eg reply are shown. On PC not

Chat issues:

Recent chats are not being saved in the chat history.

I can open the chat in the browser on my phone, it only freezes occasionally. The public chat works OK, in the private chat I can see what people write to me but whatever I write never gets sent.

Also I notice that the usernames in the public chat thread are no longer clickable.
