I can so easy relate to your feelings! I've been addicted to masturbation for ten years and porn ever since I was 12,and I've never been clean for very long at all. Finally, I put a month together and then somebody sent me to this site. What's amazing, is that one should think that it is terrible to admit that one is addicted, but for me, it is the most wonderful feeling! Even being clean for a month doesn't come close to the satisfaction of knowing with what we are dealing and as a bonus, with whom we share our problems.

Being on GYE was an unbelievable eye-opener. I realised how much a craved for schmutz, that i found myself wanting to find inappropriate material on the GYE website!!!

We may have a disease, but as long as we are working on ourselves how proud we can be!!!

Unfortunately, m story is an all too familiar one. I'm a Yeshiva Bochur who is serious about Yiddishkeit but I fell into the trap at an age where I couldn't really understand the gravity of what I was doing. Too smart for my parents filters I never even tried to give up properly, except for a few occasions where I had bets with my friends, where I went maximum 5-6 weeks.
Now B"H I am sober for a couple of months, and knowing I am a recovering addict is the best feeling in the world.
My only regret is that I never met GYE earlier, and that there are so many people who could so greatly benefit from it who are yet to discover it.
