I'd get on the phone call each kid in the class privately and say hi, before returning. I think it can dispel a lot of negativity

That would def help but I'm talking about a whole yeshiva of 70 guys. A lot who I would not just speak 2 randomly

It's one of those things that you'll just need to jump into. Since the hanhala knows, it might be a convenient time to confide in one and seek his advice.

Welcome!  Check out the handbook for suggestions, and keep posting here.  I know you don't feel fortunate right now, but you are fortunate to be dealing with these issues now, when you are young.  Some of us struggled for decades, got married, wife found out... THAT is embarrasing.

I'm not sure what to tell you specifically about that.  But, hopefully it will pass.  Do you have a friend you could discuss it with?  What about your parents?

Youre right. I should count myself lucky. Wouldn't want to imagen the embarresment of wife finding out...

I can't offer any practical advice on how to deal with the embarrassment, I think that it's more of an attitude/mind set thing in which you seem to be doing great, but I could say that I had a similar very humiliating incident back in my yeshiva days and I just jumped in, sucked it up, and it passed after a day. No, it's not easy at all, but it'll pass sooner than you think....

Hearing your struggle. Sounds sucky. I'd hate to be caught myself working on that not happening.

The embarrassment will be also quite sucky. Just gotta sit with it. Or try phoning some guys, especially those you know who know. It sounds hard but hey, it could be worse if you got no allies when you come back.

At the very least you could all condemn them for speaking loshon hora :-)

I read your posts and feelings of embarrassment. But I ask you. Do you want to stop? Embarrassment aside, dirty messages aside. Do you feel an inner desire to want to change?
