And if they developed sorethroats due to yelling by mincha, they are more than likely Stoliner meshugaim.
Us guys are good at ahava; some of us are even love sick, and we sure have yirah about getting caught.
But what I really can't figure out is how do you know that they were praying without a gartel? Perhaps it was with a gartel? Did the lack of a gartel contribute to the sorethroat somehow?

anyway, I'm in.....no movies while praying Mincha during sefirah (which actually can be used as an impetus to not pray mincha in the first place, but that's a different thread/group).

Novominsk is supposedly a Chassidus. Stolin... no comment. 

BTW I've noticed that a lot of yeshivish guys walk around all day with a scarf around their neck. That must be a gartel to prevent sore throats.

I actually thought it was so that their wives can direct them where to go and where to look, or where not to look.
