TEHILLIM – Rabbi Dr. A.J. Twerski In Serious Condition With COVID-19

Tehillim is needed for Rabbi Dr. A.J. Twerski – beloved author, Talmid Chacham, and psychiatrist, who is in serious condition with COVID-19

Rav Twerski is currently in a hospital in Eretz Yisroel.
Rav Twerski has authored more than 60 Seforim and books, and is a world-renowned expert on addiction who has helped thousands over the years.

Please say Tehillim for Avrohom Yehoshua Heshel ben Devorah Leah.

I thought of a suggestion. We can give a gift to Rabbi Twerski by davening to Hashem that he should have a full recovery, when we have an urge and we hold back from falling, as we know it's a big eis ratzon then...
He has done so much for US, let's give him something in return...

Great idea. Let's give the merit of all our saying "no" and turning away today for Rabbi Twerski's recovery!

He is not doing well, he was hospitalized yesterday and his situation was critical. B"H he stabilized, but he needs a miracle still.

Perhaps we can divide up the Tehillim here. The idea goes like this: Post which perakim you can say, from 1 and on, and in the following posts others will continue from that number and on, till we finish the Tehillim (and start over).

Think about how good you'll feel if you say no to desire and compare that to how bad you'll feel if you say yes.

Desire is unique in the way that it is never fulfilled -  if you give in the desire comes back even more powerful in just a few days. Telling yourself that its ok because this is really the last time doesn't work because you are just adding new images to your head that will cause future falls.

The Joy of triumph over the yetzer hara is worth the effort it takes to win. It IS worth it! Keep fighting!
