I feel a wave of sadness and emptiness coming over me. I may need a hurricane to come and blow it away.

Why do I feel this way, I am not sure. But it may be because I've neem doing something that made me feel good the last few days and last night I was speaking to someone about it and I got a vibe from the person of non-approval. I know this is my self consciousness kicking in because that person I was talking to really is makir tov for what I am doing, but I still am replaying my conversation from last night in my head and it's pulling me down.

Wish me luck guys!

The feelings you're experiencing now, are the answer to your question on your other thread. Even in the best of marriages, there will be many times that we do things for our wives, expecting some level of recognition in return. Not that we're selfish or anything, but we want our efforts to be appreciated. While most of the time we will get what we want (in a healthy marriage) there are times that we won't. There are many reasons this can happen, either because there is some type of miscommunication, or a million other reasons. Marriage (even rock solid ones) has its ups and downs. When they don't respond the way we want them to, the feeling we have is what you're feeling now. Mild, sometimes even intense feelings of rejection etc. If a person hasn't worked on himself to clean up the lust, he will inevitably turn to his pacifier to soothe his hurt feelings..Think of this as an opportunity. You've got a chance to prove to yourself that you have what it takes to weather the storms that life throws at everyone. No one is spared from challenges in life. If you can overcome your feelings now, you will come out so much stronger. We get it, it's tough, but you're tougher. I just Davened Shachris. I had you in mind. Hatzlacha brother! Have a wonderful Shabbos!

Good job rooting for you.

Starting to think maybe you are a girl, just pretending to be a bachur instead of saying that you're married, so no-one should catch up with all the great questions you've asked...

I’m just curious can you share how do you manage so? Which phone filter do you use or is there some app lock that you use, that blocks access to some distractions apps or websites? I’m using iPhone by the way. And also congratulations for staying that much clean.

Nice to hear; any specific shirim in particular? Curious - do Muslims have such sites as well? In general, how do they view masturbation? Thanks and Godbless.

I stumbled across a Muslim version of GYE once. Seemed like there was less focus on trucking. Was interesting to see though.

GYE is a non-discriminatory provider of trucks as far as I can tell. There's even a whole thread full of Hassidim.
