I've been thinking about this for awhile. Every post on here is so amazing and precious etc. etc. But there are some that are head and shoulders above the rest. Perhaps because the advice in there is so important, or because the journey documented is so inspiring (or deterring), or for any other reason.

I think it'll be a useful resource to gather a "Hall of Fame" thread in one place.

So drop a link to your favorite threads below. No rules for submissions - just drop your favorite threads with a brief description about why it's in here. I would include the author and the thread name. Check that no one else linked it before to avoid duplicates.

Please don't clutter the thread with discussion (feel free to start a separate discussion thread).

To start off with some of the classics:

Dov's collected wisdom. (The "Dov Quotes" thread).

The scariest results of what this sickness can do to someone's life. (Pickamoniker's "A New Experience - Lust Free Sobriety" thread.)

A thread on dealing with not having Friday Night relations - a great discussion on managing with failed expectations for relations. (Chaimoigens "Friday Night Blues" thread.)

A spirited debate on how to view bochrim struggling with p&m (In Ishmgrodno's excellent "Gardener of Grodno" thread).

Perhaps the classic thread on recovering sholom bayis that was wrecked from p&m. (chulentking's "Married a long time and need help" thread.)

Some deep, emotional, and meaningful letters from Yechida. These are the first few (his thread is 138 pages). They are beautiful, hopeful, tear-jerking, and emes that speaks to the neshama.

Shalom Bayis's thread "Breaking out of the cycle". A poignant journey breaking out of a cycle of horrific shalom bayis into a brand new relationship. This thread has it all. Lust addiction shattering a relationship, the hero protagonist awakening to the consequences of his actions, and a desperate rocky trip to sanity with loads of helpful (and/or entertaining) commentary from our GYE peanut gallery. It even has a happy ending!
As suggested by @amavekesh - shkoyach!

Eye.nonomous's "12 Steps Demystified" - Found this one again while I was looking at Gibbor120's (action packed) signature for the Shalom Bayis thread above.
This is a collection of key quotes summarizing main ideas in the Big Book with some brief commentary and explanation. Very helpful intro to the concepts.

Iwannalivereal and his tremendous journey in his "Raboisai - I'm Living Real!" thread.
Armed with nothing more than a battered copy of the Battle of the Generation, a Rolodex full of GYE contacts, and True Grit, Iwannalivereal fought his way back from the depths of porn abuse to literally win BMG's coveted "Shtarkest Winter Zman" trophy.

I'm being facetious only because his success makes me so jealous. Read it!

A couple more classics. Two short threads detailing a very specific journey.

First up we've got YidfromMonsey's introductory thread "Hello everyone!". This heilege yid (apparently from Monsey?) went from the deepest depths to real sobriety. But the thread takes you along from the optimism of tasting cleanliness through GYE, back down to the depths of relapsing, through hard-earned sobriety through SA. An essential view on what SA can do for someone.

Next up we've got AlexEliezer's eye opening thread "High Infidelity" (Yasher Koach to @amavekesh for dragging this one up from the depths). A sober member sowed the wind, and reaped the whirlwind. What's crazy is not that a luster's wife would be driven carry on an emotional affair with another man. The crazy part is AlexEliezer's incredibly mature and wise response to the discovery. Worth reading to drive home the serious long-term effects of acting out on a marriage, and to see an example of a good husband.

[And one bonus thread: Ur-a-Jew's intimacy thread entitled: "Thank you Hashem (Rated R)". Whole lotta wisdom in there. Hyperlinking is not working on this one for some reason: https://guardyoureyes.com/forum/17-Balei-Battims-Forum/107329-Thank-You-Hashem-%28Rated-R%29
Actually someone linked a while bunch of the classic intimacy threads HERE. Way too much reading too add them individually to this list.]

Thanks chosemyshem for this service.

Greatly appreciated.

Somehow, on my second visit to GYE, I managed to hit Ish MiGrodna’s “Gardener of Grodna” thread. The red, blinding surge of Kinas Sofrim I experienced and subsequent inspiration is one that impacted me deeply. I later discovered his “Marriage From Gan Eden” story, which fleshes out the story of his journey.

Full of reflection, intelligent and fascinating conversation, and monster growth. Classic Hall of Fame material.

Here's  the link to the very excellent Marriage from Gan Eden story.

A section from Gardener of Grodno is linked in the very first post so I'll skip the link to that. Shkoyach for the recommendation!
