Well, this is my first attempt at something like 90 days....I have to do something. I need to really get a good start. The most days I ever, ever had, was 11...Most of the time, I would be luck to get 3 days in a row. I need to do this...I want to believe that my life can change...I want my dignity back, I want my self-respect back, more than anything, I just can't be separated from Hashem because of this addiction anymore....So, I'll try anything at this point.

There are times when the 90 is overdone, but in general, it is a good mile marker, not destination.

Hi,

I remember learning somewhere that the Yetzer Hara seems really strong and scary, but when we defeat we realise just how weak it was. My best advice.....when the Yetzer Hara comes knocking once.....don't try to run away....just beat him...only once.....seriously, just this one time.

Beat him just to show him that you can do it. Just one time. Once!

Once you do that, you'll realise just how pathetic he is, and the next few times are easier.
