I rarely used it, but the plus karma does feel fake without the minus. Maybe cords idea, of a thumbs-up, thumbs-down on each individual post, as opposed to a karma based on the person himself.

        BTW, what is a karma?

    A karma is like a truckma, only smaller.

    But seriously, karma (at least here on GYE) is kind of a popularity measure. Meaning that if someone likes you or likes something you said, they click on the "+" under your name, and your karma goes up. And if they don't like you they click on the "-" and your karma goes down.

Someone emailed me a different place where you can see how helpful a member is.
Since we are the most humble and don't push our resume's we are not out to advertise that location, but it's open to all to see.

Karma is usually a good reflection of the positivity of a member. Again I'm not interested in promoting myself, and actually hate that I have to write this post

Many others have complained about the Negative Karma removal

Another old timer emailed me tonight.
Many old timers are upset why it was clicked out on whim

Can we please have it back, so that Karma will have its due respect

I have a formal request:
Anyone that doesn't want Karma should have the option of opting out and his karma won't show at all (The Devs know how to do this)

But if you're part of Karma you accept to see it swing. Lose some (as we all have), and gain some.

So please revert the plus and minus, as public opinion is for it
