Welcome aboard! I am a bit older than you but my story is almost the same. Married with kids, SSA since I was too young to understand what it meant, heavily into P&M but never anything more than that. I found GYE around 5 years ago and life hasn't been the same. I am no longer alone, I have found an amazing group of friends who accept and support me. Stick around, the road leads upwards from here.

I would like to say something that Cordy told me when I was a newcomer. Whether you believe what I'm about to say or not, there are many people who struggle with homosexual lust and many with heterosexual lust, and many with both. But I have learnt over the years that there is no discrepancy in terms of overcoming the problem from a sexual perspective. What works for one may work for another, many times regardless of sexual preference. There may be different psychological nuances, but from a pure recovery standpoint I don't see a difference.

Besides , in SSA, everyone has different triggers and often your support partner wont fall in that category. It would be smart to find someone that doesn't.

(This is one thing i didnt understand about ssa till i shmoozed with others here. I thought everyone has the same triggers as me. )
