i want you to know that i also dont think that my wife is the best looking in town and i was a little unsure what to do about it during shidduchim but the shiduch went ahead anyway somehow. And now.... she makes me the happiest ever! since no one here knows me i feel safe saying that we really love each other and we have a really deep relationship
i cant thank Hashem enough for sending her my way!

I think I might know you! I once met a guy who had a happy marriage! Just kidding - don't panic, but we need more people saying that marriage is good. When I got engaged my mind was full of all of those cynical marriage jokes that I always heard. I gotta admit that It made me kinda nervous..

Thanks so much everybody for the posts! Some people apparently missed my post that I got engaged, so again, I got engaged, wooo!!!

I am so happy and know I made the right move. I really appreciate the advice about looks, and honestly I really think my kallah is beautiful now anyway.
