I was just pointing out that ultimately, we are striving for a state where our wife's interest or lack thereof has no bearing on our sobriety. If I am content in the mindset that as long as my wife is interested, I'm okay, I am almost guaranteed to fall as soon as she's either forbidden to me or not on the mood.
