There comes a time in our lives when we need to step back and examine not only our wound but also our bandages. Somtimes they can be painfully comfortable while hiding the infection still growing underneath.

Therefore, I will be taking an extended leave of absence from gye.

I've learnt world's here, met (literally and figuratively) many wonderful people who all have the same longing and desire to live life the way Hashem wants us to. I have tremendous hakoras hatov to gye for being a lifeline and a platform for so many people to connect and learn life. I shudder to think where I'd be if I'd never found gye.

Nonetheless, it's time for a change.

I will miss you all, (I won't be checking my gye email either), those of you who know how to be in contact through more conventional means (like a phone) please do.

Normal people can walk past a Barnes & Noble without feeling their heart racing and an excitement that grips your whole body because amongst the 200,000 books they have, there are 25 that are erotic.It definitely brings home the point that taking the first drink might be a lot more inclusive than actually sipping, or in our case that would translate to the first drink being in the head as opposed to actually loading a webpage..

Tonight I came back and posted/read posts. i just realized that it's exactly five years since I've joined gye. Gosh! Feels like 25 years. Change is good, But it sure can hurt sometimes.
