Hello

Important question. If ejaculation occurs without the hand or anything else touching the organ, is this 'spilled seed', or classified in the same manner as masturbation? is there negative deed attributed to this occurrence?

Thank you for as much info as possible
Sam

How did it happen? Did you cause it by thinking sexual thoughts? By watching pornography?

If it happened subconsciously in your sleep, it is not considered "a negative deed" (unless it was a result of heavy lusting before going to sleep.)

Porn yes , watching,  but zero touching of organ whatsoever ,

Also, emissions are transparent in color and I suspect seed not present.

I really don't want to come through sounding sharp. If yes, please forgive me.

In learning there is the famous question, למאי נפקא מינה? Literally meaning "What difference does it make?"

If it is for the 90 day chart, then the porn itself would be considered a fall. If for the pgam habris, I'm not a Rabbi or Mekubal, but I think there is a pgam just from watching porn. Regarding a Cohein eating Terumah in the times of the Beis Hamikdash, perhaps there would be a Nafka Mina.
By the way what you are referring to is call pre-ejaculate fluid. There is a discussion in the married section of the site regarding the status of it. Al pi kabula, as mentioned in Sefer Binyanie it is a problem, I've heard from poskim to be meikel when caused through foreplay. I don't think anyone discusses this when caused through porn.
As a disclaimer, I don't mean to say it is like regular ejaculation so that someone should say, "you know what, I fell anyways, I might as well go all the way". You will get schar for stopping to masturbate even after releasing pre-ejaculate fluid. Every act of self control is rewarded.

This past july, you posted that you do not watch porn. What happened? How was this past year?

Perhaps share some more about yourself.

Dear Friends,
I am plagued with questions regarding pornography.
I currently do not watch pornography and have not for almost 2 years.
My greatest question is the following.
Is it sinful to watch pornography if no masturbation occurs, no spilling of seed.
(I suspect that the answer is yes, it is still sinful)
however, I wish to know why is it sinful? and how sinful is it? Which sins would I be committing as an individual if I decided to watch pornography? I wish to understand.

Thanks
Sam Sydney

Thank you. however what if the clear fluid (i.e. pre-ejaculate) is in the force of a normal ejaculation and not the trickle as is usual. (all this while nothing touching organ)

Does this indicate a loss of life?? most important question.

Could it indicate the opposite, that there is zero loss?

Sorry not understanding. Are you afraid you might be sterile? Perhaps ask a doctor.

I don't think I am the only one who doesn't understand what you are asking and is wondering what type of answer are you looking for.

Let me go out on a limb here – I think what he’s looking for is that he has read all sorts of scary and the terrible things about masturbating causing loss of life and hence being liable to terrible punishments. It sounds like he is afraid of either being called one who causes loss of life or of opening himself up to these terrible punishments that the books talk about. It does not seem that he is particularly concerned with the issue of the pornography itself

Sam, am I on the right track?

Very afraid only for the potential loss of the life of infant souls attached to each seed specifically.

I was given elaborate wisdom in my dreams or sub-conscious that my seed has ascended after many years of being Shomer Habrit and I simply wanted to verify that the physical evidence is not contrary,

I don't want to risk killing my children, progeny or inflicting suffering in or on the spiritual world.

Sam- if it’s spiritual wisdom you’re talking about, I’ll give you some serious spiritual wisdom. The eyes are the window to our soul, and if you protect them, you protect the windows of your soul.

If you follow Hashem’s Torah, the spiritual benefits are astounding.
