Inspired by two of yesteryear's greats, I'd like to initiate a new nonexclusive group.
First, some background:
Pidaini initiated a KRIS"H group for shema al haMitah.
Mr. Emunah was a countin' to the P and the M (he is in the thousands now B"H).

On Friday, there was an in-depth conversation on the Phone from fellows on both sides of the Pond regardin' connections to God, and it spilled out that some (includin' I) are not the best Minchah go'ers, to say the least. Therefore, i figured that what better way is there than to start a Mini group to the P and to the M for all those who wish to be Mechazek in Minchah services. Perhaps we/I can build a connection in this way; and if not, it Probably can't hurt.

The rules for this group are:
There ain't no rules!

Suggestions:
1. Any word beginnin' with a P or an M should be capitalized.
2. If you Post on this thread, you should end it by indicatin' your streak to the P(rivate Minchah) and to the M(inyan Minchah).

What is the "rule/suggestion"  about mincha while traveling by airplane?




0 to the P and 1 to the M!

It is impossible to have 0 P and 1 M. Perhaps I should have been More specific. When one davens with a Minyan, he Marks a 1P and a 1M. If he davens Privately, he Marks 1P and 0M. This way, the P can still continue, even though his streak of M stopped. Then, of course, he can start again.

Please keep to your rules-or Must we only state our count at the end of the first Post of the day (Post Mincha) and not all subsequent Posts that day until the next Mincha?
So as long as you grab a kossel you will always keep your P count rolling!

This group is all about honesty. You either did an M, or you didn't. If you davened Privately, it will count for the P, but not for the M.

I don't follow the whole Rashei Taivos

But today I was in Minion rush (name of a game) as happens sometimes and was gonna Pray Mincha alone

But in honor of this thread I decided to Pop into My local establishment to join a Public forum of 10 Men

Then, Tonight at a Party I often have to Participate, I oftentimes am Pressured to leave and Pray alone

I decided again to Pray instead with the quoruM thanks to this thread of cordnoys

Another question,

say for some ones you can't daven in a minyan ie you're sick. You still allowed to mark that as an "M" if you are mekayem the Shulchan Aruch/MB's ruling of starting at the same time as a minyan?
