My wife just left town tonight to go to a wedding and she won't be back until Thursday. I've been struggling big time the past two days, fight an uphill battle. I took on a double Taphsic that goes until this coming motzi shabbos, but I'm pretty much ready to just do the preventative steps so that I can be yotzi in doing them, pay my light knas, and give in. The thought of throwing away my clean time, though, is motivating me (I think I'm at 70 days.) Please guys, I need some sort of chizzuk!!!!

You are one strange species of a charachter

Here you're talking about Taphsic etc yet a few minutes later you're singing about Dov here which is a totally different tune

Well it's easier to tell other what to do
And if your wife were Nidda for the next two days? Would it be any different of a battle? if so, why?
Maybe phone her whenever you feel you're going to fall. That's nice. She'll love it. Well don't tell her you're going to fall, unless you're open with that stuff. Say you miss her. If you have the resources, surprise her by meeting her wherever she is with a bunch of roses. Come on there's so much cannon fodder here! Hatzlocha brother.

When one has an itch and an opportunity to fall, he doesn't call his wife to stay safe. As a matter of fact when he is ready or on his way to his house of lust, his (my) wife will call and he/i will find any reason to hang up on her.

NowI, there is stuff you can do beforehand to help prevent it, and that is up to you.

I didn't realize that Dov doesn't like the Taphsic method. I've only been active on this site for not even a week.

Thanks guys, unfortunately, I actually fell last night, feel like an idiot about it, but I think that guilt isn't the best response. If I truly felt bad about it, I wouldn't do it anymore. The best response is to just get back in the saddle and keep on going. I'm also trying to see what happened preceding the fall so that I can make sure it doesn't happen again.

Just for the record, dov never said that. But I have never heard him encourage it and there's good reason for it

There's a lot of things that Dov doesn't like that might surprise you.

peanut butter and jelly sandwiches make him nauseous.
kids leaving the seat down drives him bananas. He actually calls them to change it before he uses.
Guys calling in and not announcing themselves can screw up his entire call.
The list goes on......
