If I may expound on what Cordnoy said, To look to the next 78 days, or 120 years and say I am going to be clean (!) is daunting and not necessarily necessary. Every day of our lives is make up of only one day. Sounds profound, no? But it actually is very profound. If we can stay clean today, only today, then we are good to go. What will be tomorrow, who cares. What's important is today. If we live our lives every day focusing only on that day, they we are truly cured of our lust habits.

Oh dear, This is hard. Two falls on the grammar in one day. Here goes again.
In light of recent revelations that have been reveled to me publicly, I would once again like to extend my deepest heartfelt apologies to anyone who may have been offended by my misspelling of Yankels name. The correct name is Pidaini. And his aviator is an eagle, not a falcon, as had been pointed out. As is mine.

The ikkur is to Keep on Trucking!! Whether it's mega or monstuh, mamish or moiredig.....Just keep on Trucking!!

Another point is to remember the "habitat" in which falls usually take place, isolation. Keeping in touch and honest with friends is one of the most helpful preventatives.

Another component which a fall feeds off of is being unproductive. Try and keep doing things, anything, that is productive.

Keep on trucking, just one more mile!! When you're there, give us a beep, we'll tell you what your next goal is (that is, if you can't guess yourself )

Hello out there

As you can see this thread was started nearly 3 years ago since then I dropped out and ultimately got back in it and B H  with His help i have been doing well .
I have a thread on the bb forum  however i felt that it would be  more beneficial to have a thread that everyone can access - in order to give me  a chance to have exposure to more people who can help me along the way and  to give me chizuk ( and possibly  i may be able to help someone else as well  ) . 

For the sticklers out there im not sure if this  the right way to do this or if it belongs on a another forum, if
so  please let me know .

I hope writing this out will help bring  me more clarity to my situation and toward life equipped with the tools i need to be free .

I joined gye and started the 90 day chart it was going great or so i thought , i was white knuckling and barely getting by ,the only reason i got anywhere on it was because it was a novel, fresh approach for me,
eventually i crashed and burned i was totally missing what people here were trying to tell me and i ended up back in my situation of sneaking around in the night trying to find porn ect. throughout the following 2 years or so  i did try here and there  with taphsic and the chart again, but it wasnt to great effect ,during this time i left kollel and went to work as well as moved to a different place ,none of this made the challenge any easier , it was very dispairing the feeling that i would never be able to be free of the shackles of lust and of being controlled by these urges, i hated myself and looked at myself in a negative light affecting my simchas hachaim ,avodas Hashem , and my marriage , i thought i hit rock when after having a baby and  my wife went to her mother i went and bought a phone and let loose with it for a week - but nope i limped along for many more months doing my thing until finally this past summer....

Great post. But what got you to 200 days?
