Have still not managed to let go of my sister in law. My wife has been mercifully keeping me in the dark, but it seems like she's going out somewhat seriously now, and my wife was just discussing it within earshot.
I am hoping that once this whole parsha is over with and I finally "lose" her, I'll be able to detach a little more.

is she a human being, just like the rest of us?
when going forward gets tough, its merely a sign that you are going uphill, just give more gas
put your sobriety first; before your wife, before your kids, before your avodas HaTorah (except for the 3 that are יעבור ואל יהרג) Without sobriety you won't have any of those things!

I specifically mentioned "Positivity," the OP of that thread, in my first post on GYE here. That thread is the main reason I started on GYE.

i just saw again your very first very impressive post
i have exact same scenario
my wife sister is a picture perfect tall LADY, with everything up to date style
very very attractive, (b"h is not the brightest)
i had a lot of trouble dealing with her, and still have some
i even had my own thread a few years ago how to deal with her
i think it was called: how to cope with an attractive sister in law (or similar)
i got many ideas, it all helped
i wish i would have them posts, so it might of helped a friend like you

I tried a million google searches to find it and came up empty handed
I don't think it is a good idea to search for "attractive sister in law" woops

On the old site you could delete an entire thread if you were the one that started it.

thanks

I wonder what the participants of this site would hold about that issue.
How would they vote?
Perhaps my next poll thread.

I'm going with the groundhog, even if they had to fake the sunlight.

The path to tahara is loaded with bumps in the road.
Guess my tiger and I weren't payin' enough attention (or too much attention to the ladies on the side) and the wagon went flying out to the ravine.
But the path does not begin from scratch.

Or does it?

Not really worth thinking about, honestly.
This second, I am clean.
What tomorrow brings, who knows?
Who cares?
Does tomorrow matter any more than yesterday?
Does yesterday matter at all?
All interesting points to ponder. At a different time.
When I can afford the luxury of pondering, instead of only doing.
That day may never come, but that is irrelevant.
Right now is what's relevant.
Am I even clean right now? Or merely white-knuckling?
Would I recognize the difference if it hit me in the face like a slushy snowball?

With these thoughts and others mixed like a slimy dinner into his brain, our hero valiantly tries to push them aside as he begins his journey once more...
Right..Left...Right...Left...
