Hi everyone. The person that coaches me with my work on development of the courses I give keeps on telling me that I should use AI specifically Chat GBT and Claude, as it can aid my work and do wonders such as transcribing content and creating transcrips for classes.
What are the risks and problems with using AI?
What are the Rabbonim and people in the know saying?

Just to scratch the surface:
There are risks of getting lost in the vast depth of everything, let alone whether the things are kosher or not.
Using AI as a tool to help you do a job can save time.
Using AI as a tool to replace your job risks errors and mental decline if you always have it think for you.

It would be easy to get used to relying on AI as a shortcut and stop thinking for yourself.

If you "need" it for a particular task, perhaps do your best to limit using it only for that specific function.

What are the Rabbonim saying - I assume you mean besides the cherem the Rabbonim in Lakewood put out? 

AI is just like the internet. Seductive, trashy, and eventually useful to the point of nearly being indispensable.

For transcription you can use something like Otter.ai so you don't have to worry about other content.

I will say I have seen people whose English skills are lacking use AI to massively better their communications - but you can also generally tell that it's through AI.  

I am not familiar with AI but it might depend on the filter. I wonder how well content filters work with AI.

Does Gemini of Google have the issues of AI?
