As I also suggested on the NoFap.com site, I think that GYE should consider accepting donations also via BitCoin. The pseudo-anonymity of such monetary transfers should remove the embarrassment-related barriers that might prevent some potential donors from actually donating.

Not sure if you were really "just kidding" or not, and regarding which portion, but:

FYI: Bitcon is a relatively new digital "crypto-currency."

And because it has become famous for being used in a few high-profile illegal activities, many non-techies have come to believe the popular but incorrect statement that "Bitcoin is anonymous." Without getting into all the gory details however, this is not true, as the history of every Bitcoin transaction is publicly and permanently recorded in a big digital "ledger" (known as the "BlockChain").

However, since this BlockChain does not contain any personally-identifiable information, it is more technically-correct to say that Bitcoin is only "pseudo-anonymous."

I was only kidding about the word "anonymous", but would be interested in hearing other options to GYE than check or credit card

How does BITCON work?
What do I need to apply?

Check out the link in the original post in this thread.

Also check out Bitcoin.org and en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Main_Page ..

Tachlis, the easiest and safest way to accept Bitcoin is probably through a service provider such as BitPay.com .
