I live in NYC and it's starting to look pretty disgusting out here. I have the idea to wear glasses that make it hard to see. Has anybody tried this? what else is good for avoiding looking around too much?

Well, the opposite can be helpful, but I guess it doesn't apply to you.  If you already wear glasses, then just take them off when in public.  I don't do this enough (and I have to be more careful about where I'm going) but it can help.

If, as I assume, you don't usually wear glasses--- I don't know, maybe something like that could help. ???

I actually have a sort of solution. I was frustrated and couldn't wait to find some so I did some research and bought some very dark sunglasses on ebay. Someone said in a review that they could barely see through them, which is perfect for me, so long as I can see where I'm walking. If they don't cover enough of my vision, i will use a marker to make them darker. Since they are already dark to begin with, it won't be noticeable. I have no problem being the weirdo who wears sunglasses so long as I get some protection from the outside world.

Personally I prefer the type where you can't see at all thru them.

I get it. it's a bit crazy but I don't care anymore. tired of seeing the garbage. 

Wouldn't it be cool to be free from this crazy obsession from within. To have the ability to just move on when seeing a beautiful women - in a very serine, loving and respectful manner??

If you're going for glasses, what about getting a pair with a very high prescription? It'll distort your vision and give you a headache if you try to look through it.
