I signed up on GYE some time ago, apart from signing up, I didn't do much. My computers are filtered since I have them, recently i found a way to bypass any filter, and I felt like was left by myself on the water. I struggled, then I noticed something very strange, and I put it to test, and I;d like to share it with you.
I'mm technically self employed. So I have to ask each day from Hashem (not my humane boss) to be kind to me and give me Parnossoh.
Some days were easy some days harder.
One day I turned to Hashem, "Listen, today I had a Nisayon, to watch non Tznius'dige photos, I need to cover today this expense, please send it to me. I was amazed how by the end of the day, in the most natural way a Job landed covering that expense!
The very same happened the next day, and the thereafter.
The next day I failed, and I found in the post, a non expect bill, of around $1,300!!!
I felt that it was as simple as that, I behave Hashem comes forward to me, I don't! He sends me his very clear message.
​The next day I though to myself, maybe it's just a coincidence. That very day I came across a non Tznius'dige photo, and I didn't resist and I went back to view that picture, being aware that somehow I'll and up paying the consequences!  And Hashem didn't wait, barely 2 hours later I received an email, of an outstanding balance which needs to be cleared strait away or else... I didn't have the funds!
I decided that's it, Hashem is clearly here and watching me personally, I gotta be stupid, not to behave myself, so I decided that;s it, I will no more fail, I sent back an email to explaining that I can only cover half this week, and the rest I'll cover next week. In the morning I woke up to a kind email, accepting my offer.

Knowing this, I feel I have the strongest filter "in my heart!"

I too would see repercussions to my illicit behaviors as I have noted in my story

But repercussions isn't a very reliable "filter in the heart" for many of us. It's usually external and not too reliable

What is reliable?

You could be correct, but when you know, that your desire "will" cost a few thousand bucks, which you can't afford, you think twice. 
​Anyway that;s my feelings, and y struggle and the way I deal with it, I thought I'll share it, it might help others.

I agree with markz. i have lost jobs and thousands of dollars because of my lust it just overcomes and digs a deeper hole where nothing matters besides feeling good and gratified

If we saw an immediate consequence to all of our actions, we would lose our bechira. So maybe Hashem is giving you a helping hand right now, but I wouldn't rely on it always being there.

Agreed! But the fellowship and and friendship that exists in SA or on GYE is only through God.
