I finally braved up, so to speak, and decided to introduce myself on this site.  I've struggled with pornography since I was a child in the 1970s, when  my mother's boyfriends kept a stack of it on our entertainment center.  I had my first sexual experience at the age of eight, and long before high school "scored" many little girls.  I suffered from serious rejection issues growing up with out a father, and throughout HS I had no healthy relationships with women.  On came the pornography and self-love of course.  By college, which I started when I was 16, I was a full on sex addict, fueled by my little girlfriend at the time who was also broken by sex before marriage.  Throughout my service to my country especially overseas, every relationship I chose was based on sex, and when I didn't get it I relegated to porn.  

Here in my mid-40s I've relied upon Adonai to deliver me.  It hasn't been easy and I've had to Teshuvah so many times.  Now that there is someone that I dearly want to marry, it's imperative that I defeat this thing once and for all.

I use Google Page blocker to block every porn site that I encounter, and it's working wonders.  If I can't see it, I won't use it.

Here's hoping we can all heal together.  I'm a Messianic, so please no trolls

You and me have almost the same story! You just started a year later and are a couple of years older. I'm also following the same teacher you are (-; 

This group is great, and the people here are very encouraging and real. You won't regret joining. It is a blessing to me just to be able to share my day relating to this, whether good or bad. That's one of the benefits you'll find.
