Dear SH

Welcome to the english-speaking forums!

I made this same switch (from hebrew to english GYE) a few months ago for a different reason: I'm having a hard time typing Ivrit. I understand both languages "pa'chot o joter", but don't speak or write fluently any of them.

Anyway, my impression was that the "Ruach" in the english forum is slightly different, maybe more relaxed in some way. I'm sure you'll get used to it.

Hi Shomer!  Welcome.  I find it helpful to recite the pasuk "Lev Tahor b'ra li Elokim..." when I have the urge to act out and it can calm me down.  May Hashem grant you success in your desire to control lust.  May you find much chizuk on the gye site.
