Just wanted to say hi. Is difficult for me to even say hello, seems like there's a barrier for me to get over to open up to a forum even under an anonymous name. BH, I guess this is step 1.

Just began the 90 day chart today.

I'm an optimistic person, but when it comes to this, after almost 30 years, I'm not expecting much. But I have seen mirzcles in the past in life, so let's hope. I have told myself 30 days, eventhough longest I can ever remember is 2 weeks and that was years ago.

Anyway, enough about me. Keep up the good work. Everyone who is on this site has to be among the righteous.

I am in my 50's. I acted out quite a bit until I was married. Then I became much frumer - learned a ton and was off for about 15 years. Then we got a computer and for 16-17 years I have not been the same. There is so much of my story I have not shared and I want to. I hope to at a later date.
But my friend look how many days I am clean. Don't get me wrong its all a miracle and a present from Hashem. I take no credit for myself. However GYE and my buddies here are clearly Hashem's Shelichim for helping me.I am proud to say that I am attempting to help others as they have done for me.

Join the club and never look back. Here you will achieve everlasting success.

Welcome! Mazal tov on taking the first step and opening up a bit. I can't claim 30 years of acting out, but over 20 years. I'm B"H 5 1/2 years sober now, and I could not have done it without GYE.

Read the handbook. Post. Reach out to others that know what you are going through. Many have been in your position and are sober today.
