I am 30 years old and married. I work as a Doctor and am increasingly concerned that I too may be a sex addict. I have open internet at my place of work and am unable to stop searching for pictures etc.

I seem to have lost the boundaries of control since last week I had a sexual encouter. I made up a pretend medical complaint and asked one of my female doctor colleges to examine me - I ejaculated during the examintion - she thought it was discharge. She is a holcause survivor and I used her for my own physical pleasures. when my wife was away recently I stuffed her robe with pillows and pretended to have sex with her. the scarry thing was that it felt the same - she often says that I am distant from her while we are having sex. (I guess I am totally engrossed in my own pleasure I ignore her) I would love to tell my life story to someone and be "diagnosed" if I really have a problem or not - who can you recommend anyone

You definitely have a problem if you compulsively act out and cannot stop. We are not into "diagnosing" here. You have to "self-diagnose". I'd recommend reading the handbook and some of the material here. Keep posting and reading.

There are lots of tools and suggestions. Try them and see if they help. If not, try something else.

You are not alone. We all have similar problems. They have different flavors, but they are all basically the same. Lust contolls us, and we can't seem to rid ourselves of it no matter how hard we try.
