hi im the first time here, I found some good friends in the chat room and told me to open a new forum so here I am writing about my self something I would never do!!

I am 19 my parents got divorced when I was 5 so I had a pretty hard life since then, at 13 I got stuck to the internet and went around the corner and Im back now but still struggling with p... tried to stop the last 2 years I have stayed clean for 142 days and fell and haven't got back clean since then so......

how did you do that?
what tools did you use?
can you share?
Can you do it again?

If I may add a bit more meaning to your clearly mystical avatar (sry i'm in a kabbalah mood).

A successful person knows that failure is the road to success not because it's unavoidable but because without the failure one simply cannot become a successful person.(Don't want to get to nitty gritty, but a person can become successful without being a successful person).

You say you had a hard life, The same applies, a person simply cannot become as special as he is meant to be without his share of unique hardships.
(this was something I've had in mind recently and wanted to share it with everyone )

WELCOME mcpropboy! Nice to have you with us. I had a similar streak when I was a bachur. I was in Yeshiva, no triggers around, I was learning pretty well. BUT, it came to an end and I was miserable. I had thought "this time is for real".

Keep posting, giving and getting chizzuk. Just trying harder for a "longer" streak didn't work for me. I had to open up to real people and share. Let go of my pride.

Have you read the handbook? It has tools in progressive order so you can try and see what works for you. We need to try smarter, not necessarily harder.

It is quite a bracha to work on this at an early age. The longer a person waits to address it, the harder it is to deal with, and marriage does NOT cure it.

You are in the right place, and heading in the right direction.
