Hello there.

I'm Azarya. I can't quit masturbation and it goes like a snowball: first in was once in a while, then once a week, and now two to three time a week in average. It's my way to get rid of reality. When I'm trying to not masturbate I'm thinking about how it would be great to take some drug (I don't do drugs) to set myself out.

I've been trying to fight my obsession, but with no significant results.

Ok, here I am, and it's good that you are there guys.

Like they said above, what steps have you taken to stop. I always berated myself and promised Hashem I'd stop etc. etc. but always came back to it within a day or two. The only time I actually showed any results was when I came to GYE, deleted ALL of my porn, deleted the secret email accounts I used to swap porn and meet other women, deleted the extra private browsers on my phone for browsing porn and installed webchaver with my Rav as my chaver. Throw in some heartfelt tefillahs to Hashem as well and voila!

Seriously though, those are just the first few steps to getting and staying clean, but they've worked for me and I've been clean for three weeks, which is the longest I've ever been since I was about 12 (almost thirty years ago).

We're all in this together, make some serious changes and you'll be giving chizuk to others soon enough!
