hello everyone,since i have recieved a very biased (bullying?)private message ,does anyone know how to put a block on private messages from certain people, i dont think they would speak  the same way to me on a public forum.unfortunately its not the first time ,and i dont know who to talk to about it.thank you in advance for your help.

Please consider getting on the same page with reality. I have found that Life works a lot better when I accept reality and come closer to being on the same page with Hashem that way, first. Theres a lot more that can be discussed about this topic, by no means am I suggesting that the facts I am bringing up paint the entire picture here. But I have found that the acceptance of certain simple realities is essential to being able to see the whole picture better.

Besides for any other issues, you do a dis-service to gye with all your multiple usernames, by messing with the GYE stats. 

Gye has statistics they advertise of let's say 10,000 members in recovery. If some members have 5 usernames, that doesn't bode well for GYE. I think you have enough hidden usernames. 

You want to hit recovery? Enough with all these hidden names, use your real name as I do :-)

If he's got some intelligence, why doesn't he respond to the point of my post above? Is he just here for mischief, or is he really here to discuss?

Well, I'm sorry you feel that way and you are letting this idiot win. I hope you stay here and ignore him, if he bothers you. He's just a bully and a troll.

Sometimes, he writes very sensitive-sounding things to people...then goes right back to crazy and hurtful stuff. He's a bit more unbalanced than the rest of us, i guess.

You wrote that he doesn't read stuff I write, markz. But I noticed ''eeyc" wrote a thank-you on the bottom of the challenging question I posted above...even though he never responded, poor guy. Unless I'm mistaken, he's just a player. He reads plenty of what I write and what other people write, but denies it in order to annoy sensitive people like you.

Your own pornography use habit, right here. When did you start. How often do you use porn and how often do you masturbate yourself and when was the last time for both of those, please. Write about yourself

And then write here if GYE is saving you (if it is) from those same behaviors. 

This is your chance, gyegye/byebye/ieeyc and whoever you are, to finally join the group and demonstrate your honesty and sense.

So please answer my post #330983 above. My point to the writer was a simple one and touches on recovery deeply. Just respond to it.

First of all, many people think that you are that same guy and that a number of usernames here on this forum, are all you. And the fact that you admitted that you made up a new username because of some chatting issue you claim you had, here, does not help - you have just demonstrated that you act in a tricky way sometimes, that's all. Besides your IP addresses being all the same, there are apparently many strong commonalities in style between all these usernames, and it points to you being the same person as ieeyc and the other ones that Markz listed a few posts ago in this thread.

Second, I have posted a great deal of clear detail about many of my sexual acting out behaviors on this forum. "Dov's Story" is posted here on the forum and has been for many years already. In addition, I gave a talk I recorded about 35 talks here on guard your eyes which are available to you if you just look them up and in many of them I detailed many of my sexual acting-out behaviors in a tasteful and proper way. And I don't use a fake name, either.

You, in addition to using a fake name (actually possibly many fake names), has been spewing advice to other people about what to do and what not to do, about what must be done and what must not be done, how to get recovery and how not to get recovery, giving exhortations about sinfulness and annoying others with your advise-giving.... Yet all the while you have never detailed anything about what your own problems were and whether you are actually clean from them because of Any thing you have done yourself, or not! 

For all anyone knows, you have no proof that all that anything you say has any validity because of two simple reasons that I tried to address above:

1- You have never admitted clearly to having any problems with lust, yourself. Do you masturbate yourself like most of those you are dispensing advice to are, or do you not? If that's not a problem for you, then how about shutting up. Chaza"l and our tzaddikim teach us that only the person who suffers from the same problem is mesugal to give out advice about it. Same goes for porn use: do you use porn, or do you not? What's your true history using porn and masturbation? If you have no real history of struggling with these problems, then your just spewing. People who spew annoy people for the simple reason that the people listening to them can sense there's nothing really there.

2- Once you admit exactly what your problems are and have been, now have you stopped doing​ those those very things because of any of the those very things because of any of the techniques or advice that you are telling others here to do?

If not, then again I would advise you to consider shutting up. When you actually have a personal, living, real track record of success with any of the techniques that you choose, it will be a wonderful service for you to service for you to share them with others who are here. Not before.

3- And please do not try to hide behind "the truth of Torah." Of course we all know that the Torah is true. But randomly dropping chaza"ls on people is not called 'teaching them Torah'. Nor is it 'giving them chizzuk'.
It's just annoying them.

If you can't understand these three basic ideas, then I would suggest you try to practice them without understanding them. 
You will find, I am sure, that people will treat you completely differently when you do these three things consistently, instead of what you have been doing until now. And you will save a lot more people from the mabul you refer to, as well. Guaranteed.
