Re: Hodu Lashem Ki Tov 03 Jul 2013 19:19 #211127

i thank Hashem for clear nasal passages
i used to look back all the time saying "oh no! what have i done! Hashem help me erase the past." and i never heard a response.
finally i started looking forward saying "Hashem i'm leaving the past to you and i'm forgetting all about it. help me have a good future. help me from here and on be the person You want me to be." and that's where i realized Hashem had been waiting to help me all along

AMEN to that brother!

almost forgot my thank you...

Thank you hashem for running wate. My shower really would not have beenenjoyable possible without it.

The reason we wash our hands after touching our shoes (a.k.a. tzoiah) would still be nogeiah.

The water we drink would probably not be as cold and clean.

We would be either bathing in a freezing natural body of water or in a tub who's water quality at the end of the baths gave way to the expression "don't throw the baby out with the bath water" (some say that's not where it came from ubber al tzad zeh).

Throughout the world more than 780 million people lack access to clean water.Every 21 seconds, a child dies from a water-related illness.*

Thank you Hashem for giving me running water.

Thank you Hashem for GYE

I don't do the 12 steps
I don't religiously read the handbook
I don't do the phone conferences
I haven't spoken to my therapist in close to 6 weeks

tomorrow, however, through the forum's help, I will be up to day 28
[Seemingly, I have some of the correct attitudes to change; not all, but some; thanks!]

I caught myself thinkin that several times over Shabbos (although personal requests on Shabbos....).

Thank you Hashem for toilet paper. I can't imagine using a stone for that purpose.
