so heres something that worked for me. i want to experiment to see if it works for others. so if G-d forbid someone is in a 'zone', but not the good kind, find a toilet and scrub it till you can eat off it ( .......... dont actually eat off it) when its nice and clean things should be better. if this works for anyone feel free to let me know

What if you're no longer living in a bachurim dirah and the toilet's clean?

well some people eat dogs and monkeys, im gonna assume that a dog might eat a person or monkey the question is would a monkey eat a dog or a person?

Reminds me of [guess which book the quote is from]:
"But do cats eat bats, I wonder?" And here Alice began to get rather sleepy, and went on saying to herself, in a dreamy son of way, "Do cats eat bats? Do cats eat bats?" and sometimes "Do bats eat cats?" for, you see, as she couldn't answer either question, it didn't much matter which way she put it.

Also it's legal to eat a person.

And halachically it's not so bad either I think, look at the minchas chinuch on it for more information.

In accordance with the ruling of the Tur O.C. 196, no Bracha Should be made before only after. The poskim disagree and rule that a bracha should be made both before and after. Both SheHakol.

Shouldn't the after Bracha be Borei Nefashos?

And according to what you wrote that only Eiver Min Hachai is allowed, then pshat is, Borei Nefashos Rabos, he created many people, Vichesronam, and their missing pieces, dehainu the parts I just ate.

If I rememeber correctly it wasn't so pashut, you said that only a b'haimah would make u fleishigs and not a chaya so I said it depends on the person....

ive been working really hard the past couple of days, (never realized that i could do a 13 hour shift) and now im tired and its making me vulnerable. i may go hide under my bed

what use is hiding if you just gave away your hiding spot?

Re: the void 15 Sep 2013 12:39 #219249

on erev yom kippur i started not feeling well and decided to davven at a shul next to my apt. i was very disappointed because it turned out to be a social hall that looked like a shul. yom kippur was really rough. i was feeling physically miserable, the talking was really disturbing me and i was having a very hard time getting into davvening. motzai yom kippur i couldnt sleep. i was feeling physically and mentally uncomfortable. i felt a NEED for some release. anything. i kept on telling myself "its motzai yom kippur! you cant do this now" this was one of the times having a filter really saved me. i was even going to call someone at 2.30 in the morning.
B"H a thought came to mind.
one of the Rabeim of Chabad asked their father on motzai yom kippur what the avodah was now. the response was "now is when we need to do teshuva". fact is itzumo shel yom mechaper. i may not have FELT connected on yom kippur but feelings are not reality. today, right now, i can work on my connection to Hashem. a real one, not just based on what im feeling now. i was disappointed in the physical day of yom kippur? well i can bring it with me by living as if i had felt what had happened on yom kippur. cause the connection happened even if i didnt feel it.
i must have fallen asleep at some point because i woke up this morning feeling much better. i made zman krias shema and davvened shacharis with a minyan (sort of) which i havent done on a weekday in a while.

sorry that these shana tova wishes are a little belated but you know i AM chabad
i would like to wish everyone an amazing year, filled with joy and life. I would like to thank the creators, administrators and participants of this amazing, holy site. may the Abishter Bentch you all with Kol Tuv Beruchniyos uveGashmiyus in a way that is visible even to us. i would also like to ask mechilla if my clowning and immaturity (or what i thought was maturity) has disturbed anyone i know that im not as funny as i think i am
