one of the things i do is worry. in yiddish there is a word "ibbertrachten". rehashing, re-figuring, what if, why, coulda-shoulda-woulda.

being that this is page 100 of my thread i think it calls for some type of ceremony.

we are gathered here tonight...

be'emes, it is a good thing to appreciate what GYE has done for so many and for me specifically. before GYE i was in the dark. looking at bad stuff. feeling bad about it. hiding. feeling like some mutated armadillo. not seeing how the lusting is not the problem, it is the solution i used to comfort myself in the face of my real problems.
now i am not cured or fixed or unpickled, but at least i am more aware of what's going on inside, seeing the resentments, fears and insecurities for what they are. friends who can identify are probably the greatest gift i have gotten from GYE, second only to a new lease on yiddishkeit which has gotten more real and relevant than ever before.
