Why oh why oh why 

Is my wife's cell phone ALWAYS on somewhere between zero and 3% battery. 
It's like she doesn't know about chargers. 
When I get home, I plug it in, it gets all the way up to 3% and then she takes it out. A few minutes later I'll see it either dead or on 1% RIGHT NEXT TO THE CHARGER. 

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, JUST PLUG IT IN. 

yep same here
this may not be appropriate for the grouchery, but after years and years of it i have given up
i guess that i also do some things that annoy her and i dont change, probably substantially worse than a chronically nearly dead cellphone

Alex if you have come to terms with your wife's annoying habits, you don't belong on the grouchery thread. Sorry.

my 9 y/o son's alarm decided to go off in the middle of the night and he slept right through it, but unfortunately I didn't. by the way he has never used this alarm and claimed this morning that he doesn't know how to set it. time to go sleep walk through my day. 

I feel like I can handle one out of three of pesach cleaning, my wife, and my kids these days.

If I must give a more concrete grouch. My (too old for this bs) kid had three accidents in two days. I'm at the point of just throwing stuff out so I don't have to clean more things.

I wish it would take an alarm clock to wake me up in middle of the night and not stress

I'm loving these grouches even though loving grouching is completely against the rules. We have to hate the grouching. With a passion. But not dare cross the line by enjoying it. You have to hate loving it and love to hate it. 

My son, who has never once woken up from his alarm clock, or has never used it to actually wake himself up, regularly manages to set it for 5am, and particularly on shabbos morning. And it's set to the max volume and it's one of those that goes on forever! 
Which has led me to taking all my kids by the hand every Friday afternoon and double triple checking that every alarm in the house is switched off for shabbos. And of course they always tell me that they already turned it off. 

Maybe its time we go back to good old Grampa clocks.

So. My wife was right yet again. 

A friend (you know who you are) called me with an emergency job. It was put very simply. Just two quick things to fix up. I convinced my wife and she was on board. However, knowing how she says that jobs ALWAYS take longer than expected, I told her “shouldn’t be more than a half hour- but really it should take 10 minutes”.

 Heh. Joke was on me. 

Ended up taking over an hour and a half. 

So now I’m tired, have to go shopping, daven maariv, get the chicken soup and cholent ready to be put up bright and early tomorrow morning because the baby has an appointment at 10:00 and keep my Grouching to this stupid thread. 

Brother, are you telling me that your friend who knows that your wife doesn't like you out working late at night, calls you up and asks you to come fix a problem that HE himself made? 
Block his number. 
That'll teach him!

Decided I'll download the GYE app since sitting on the GYE website is a time-killing gateway drug for me. 

Shlepped over to TAG to open the app store. Sneakily downloaded the app - while hiding my screen from the TAG guy of course. Slunk out of the TAG office hoping no one noticed what shameful app I downloaded.

Get to my car, fire up the app. And boom! The app needs a webpage to work.

I have the browser totally locked down. The only way to have to the page unblocked was to go back in to TAG and have the guy input the restrictions code to unblock the specific page the app goes to. 

Heck no.

So here I am back on the website.
