I started to say Barchi Nafshi out loud, remembered that I don't know it by heart, then mumbled some nonsense while I tried to find the place inside.

Today is yesterday's tomorrow.
The yetzarim a person has the most trouble dealing with are his most powerful God-given tools for developing his potential and achieving shleimus.
In order to love who you are, you cannot hate the experiences that shaped you.

Y’know, I don’t think enough people know the following.

I’ve heard from numerous rabbanim that the only way you repeat shemoneh esrei is if you realize IMMEDIATELY after you finish. If you only chap later- even seconds- no need to repeat.

This would have saved me countless repetitions. Including today.

But if your safek came during s"e then we assume you would remember if you said it.

Just wanted to say thank you to grant400 for starting this forum and to everyone who added there own things. it's important to have healthy outlets. Really enjoyed this thread.

On that note,
I was once called up for an aliya and accidentally said borchu in the tune we use on friday night...
And at a wedding when we read asher boro durring sheva brachos, I wasnt paying attention and started saying asher yatzar
