1) An official meeting
2) A mushroom table (or something similar)
3) Popcorn

Point taken, but we have to make a meeting if we were to change that, we'll let you know afterwards. Maybe we'll make it some Oberlander's Kosher for passover cookies (lady fingers?) !!

In regard to the during the day meetings, since Bein Hazmanim is around the corner, I'm sure most of the OYNKers will be able to acomodate the OOYNKers. we'll discuss that at the next meeting i guess.

I haven't been on here for a while.
Baruch hashem after joining GYE 4 weeks ago I have managed to stay clean.
Never thought I would manage 4 weeks. But the truth is that after the first two weeks it got easier. Now I'm starting to wonder if it's been too easy, and I'm heading for a "trap" somewhere down the line.
Anyway I was wondering whether it would be beneficial for me to join your meetings. Part of me cringes at the thought of "revealing myself" to new people, but from what I heard from Dov, this opening up is part of recovering. On the other hand could these meeting be harmful to me? Part of me is wondering whether I was ever addicted if stopping for the last month has been this easy. I am a little confused.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm going to need help recapping what was discussed by the meeting (because of my "attention deficit Hey, Donuts problem", and due to the lack of liquids).
And since it's late I'm just going to outline the basic topics that came up.

First of all we were zoche to have Ben Durdaya join us, THANKS BRO!!

We discussed some of the rigidness (if a word) of the SA meetings, and how we will try to be a little original and understanding that every person is different.

We discussed some of accepting where we are, and that Hashem is being mashpia to us even while we are "on our knees" (to quote Dov).

We discussed how dificult it is to walk on the streets and some practical eitzos how to "give up" those thoughts.

Did I forget anything? oh, yeah, we had
