Mazel Tov and continued recovery.

Today is 768 days which are 109 weeks and 6 days of being sober.
I would never have believed it to be possible. I am literally crying from joy.
The Blind Beggar is a character in Rebbe Nachman's story of the Seven Beggars.
If I view a woman as an object, I am powerless over lust, but I don't have to look.
I can guard my eyes.
I want to guard my eyes.
I do guard my eyes.
Why do I say these four lines?

Well done. Thanks for sharing your success.

I think its important when people share when they are doing well, and not just when they are struggling.

It would be helpful if you could share how you have achieved this.

Hey B'behleh, Nu, can you believe? Mazel Tov! You are an example to every single one of us about persistence, dedication, and bitachon. KOT! indeed.

got your email. Thank you so much for reachin out.

So I think I got signing in to the new site. Guess what? All the blue on the site?... worst color for me to see. Anybody, is there a way to change the color of the template?

Moish u.k., how BB accomplished this miracle is very simple: shmiras eynayim, b'li yadayim, GYE, filters, a dogged determination, and his profound trust and love of his Creator. Simple, eh? Now, how exactly he did all those, I haven't a clue. Everybody does there own way. Our sickness is the same. But the only way that's ever worked for me is through working at those things above. One day at a time. Spoonful by spoonful. Like how you feed a baby. GYE and the chevra here help me to get/keep going a palpable real experience of connection and relationship with Hashem. My Hashem. My intimate, my Dodi. As my act was cleaned up a little at a time, a personal relationship with "H began to emerge and grow. May you know such steadyness in your recovery.

There was no progress at all before I found GYE. I once stopped masturbating for a month and, when I first found the sefer והאר עינינו I stopped for over 4 months.

This Forum and the handbooks and the emails were all helpful. Speaking to people on the phone and meeting them in GYE get-togethers was also important.

The 3-second rule was very useful and the Guard himself helped me make a nussach for a TaPhSiC shevuah which got me off bad Internet sites and made me into a different person. I made my own nussach to finally free my mind from being a non-stop erotic movie theater.

None of that was enough to give me 2 years' of being clean. I went to SA meetings every week for about 6 months and shared and listened and read and I did the first 2 steps. Those meetings were what finally broke my addiction and I stopped going to meetings and doing more steps.

That is what worked for me. It might not work for you.

Hatzlacha to everyone.
