Welcome AdaminNJ and Torah620. Before I joined GYE I had accepted that this problem was something I will just have to live with but now I have a way out. I am so grateful for the support and wonderful friends I have made through GYE. I have a way out and am on my way.
We are all so happy to welcome you.
You are both very smart to tackle this issue now while you are young. You have your whole life ahead of you and it will be a great ride.

I saw a beautiful line from Rabbi Biderman it has helped me, this is it

It says

Shmor li voeshmor loch - Guard what is mine and I will guard what is yours

Meaning Hashem rests his Shechinoh in a persons eyes - So guard ME (Hashem) and then in return Hashem says 'I will guard what you need guarding!'

We need our health parnoso children guarded every moment - all you need to do is to guard Hashem (your Eyes) and you are sorted!

I believe in this - and so do you! otherwise we wouldnt be struglling with our eyes so much! It is only through our eyes do we get the much needed syiatoh Dishmayoh
