You know how we discussed our relationship earlier, I still haven't gotten to know you any better

It seems as though you want to help people, so let me give you a piece of experience.

The only way things work in this business is by sharing what helped for us, sharing our experience. When I see someone going through the same thing as me, yet acting differently, it sinks in. When someone just throws around advice....it's more of a nuisance than a help.

There are even many professionals out there, but only very specifically trained ones can help an addict find the way, and even then, many push their clients to go and listen to other recovering addicts.

What is your experience?

I think that Lavi is just suffering from new member syndrome in his own way.
I remember it took me some time to realize that what the oilam was saying was correct and all my chakiros and svoros won't get me anywhere.
It is a process and takes a bit of time to realize what we are really up against and sit back and take advice.
The fact that he finally posted today is proof that he is starting to change the way he thinks.
if you look through some of the long threads you can see extreme examples of how people changed the way they looked at things and even their tones and apparent aggression as well as their pride went through complete change as they started on the way to recovery.
Lavi, we are all rooting for you. I think that you may have to do some introspection to see if what you have been doing until now has really helped you discover change in the way you deal with your issues of lust and whatever it is that brought you here, or if it is just pushing off the issue until it explodes.
