I have noticed over the last week or so, that there have several people who have started posting on the forum, either by jumping into the middle of a conversation (indicating that they have been "lurking on the sidelines" of the forum, and only now want to put in their two cents), or introducing themselves mentioning that "I have been registered and recieving GYE chizuk emails for [a few weeks/months/years] now, but just decided to join the conversation."

If you are one of those people who have been reading emails and/or following everyone's conversations on the forum, but have not yet posted yourself on the forum, I urge you:

Click on "New Topic," choose the category called "Introduce Yourself," and say Shalom Aleichem to all of us! It could the turning point you need in your life. We all recieve a lot of chizuk from opening up to each other and sharing our struggles. But it doesn't happen if you stay on the sidelines!

I promise you we won't bite...

I agree. It's so much easier to work in this area when you're part of the community. It's much harder when you're by yourself. It's like the difference between learning in the beis hamedrash and learning in your bedroom, only bigger.

There's no reason not to contribute really. Remember, it's all 100% anonymous if you want it to be, and it doesn't take much time either.
