How can we be commanded
To Love God?
Isn’t Love innate? within
Our nature? Not something
We can command ourselves
To feel?

Yet within such a question
Lies the answer
That indeed every Jew has
A burning innate love of God
Deep in the heart
& contemplation
Through toil & a true desire
We can discover this treasure of love
Within us
& bring it out in the open
& feel it in our whole body & soul
Deep within our consciousness

The inner reason
For not sinning
Is so as not to block or forget
The illuminating beautiful light
That each of us received
By the giving of the Torah

While the positive mitzvos
Actively triggers the remembrance
Of the Giving of the Torah
Drawing into us
That illuminating beautiful light
To bring us to the potential
Of who we really are

(written Erev Rosh Hashanah)

May Abundance
Of
Overflowing
Blessing
Be Gifted
To your beloved Nation
Though beaten & scarred
Though exhausted
By
Thousands of years
Of
Trials & Tribulations
We turn to You
To make us whole again!!!

May your Endless Kindness
Pierce the veil
& shine upon us
& the entire world
Filling every creation
With the Intimate knowing
Of You

That moment

The red thread
Turning white!!!

Moishe Rabbeinu’s vision
Into Eretz Yisroel
Allows us today
When we pray
To concentrate our hearts & minds
Towards the Holy of Holies
In our hearts

Pearls (Rav Kook)

When you sense that you have fallen because the spirit of your ethical awareness is weak, consider this: you have to draw forth precious pearls from the depths of the abyss.
When you know this, then you will rise. You will renew your abilities with strength and tranquility. You will approach the ever-lasting light with more capability than you ever had before.
This rule applies to the entire generation. It governs reality forever.
Orot Hakodesh III, p. 252

Dear Bad Mood ,(otherwise known as the Dark Side)

You are here.
I know that.
But you will not dictate
How I behave today

You make me feel
Mean inside
Ugly,beastly
Ok

So you have done this
Today & many yesterdays
But I won’t inflict
That meanness
Upon myself
Or those around me

Nor will you have me
Hold back
My smile
As I greet my fellow man

I will ask my Creator
To remove you
From me
Because you are not
Who I really am

I will beseech my Father
That when you do invade
My inner self
That I be given
The mental toughness
& loving heart
To ignore you entirely
Not allowing you
To hurt myself
Or those whom I love

You have overwhelmed me often

Truth is
You are stronger than me
But you want to know something?
My Creator whom I rely upon
Can make me victorious over your strength!!!

If I pray to Him
Sincerely & consistently
He will then help me
Ignore
Your destructive urges

He will protect me
Teaching me to behave
The way I really want to
So that all you anger
All your lusts, your animal darkness
Will be reduced
To a mere background noise

A few profound points written by K Gibran

How shall my heart be unsealed unless it is broken?

Is there a greater fault than being conscious of the other person's faults?

A root is a flower that disdains fame

The silence of the envious is too noisy

our most sacred tears never seek our eyes

every seed is a longing

A woman may viel her face with a smile

and to conclude with a quote relating to Succos. Its a mitzvah to experience simcha on Yom Tov.If one's heart is heavy for whatever reason, one should still make the effort to rejoice as best as he or she can by thinking positively & looking & contemplating on the many Kindnesses that Hashem has given you

"How noble is the sad heart who would sing a joyous song with joyous hearts!!!!"

and what happens often is the the ray of light & happiness pierces through the sad heart & begins to heal it

may you all experience this true joy in your hearts

Sukkah,Sukkah!!!
Come with me
Wherever I go
Protected & safe
Within your comforting walls

Inner peace & love
Safe & sound
From the fierce winds outside
Trusting you
Feeling inner joy
In my Sukkah
Where the Shechinah resides

All around me
& within me
As the Clouds of Glory
Carry me through life
Gently & safely
To where I need to be

"background noise" - That's exactly all it is.

Truth is so geshmak!
"Off the 18-wheeler and fine on this tricycle!", "I do not particularly care exactly which "lav" suicide is. I'm not interested in it for other reasons...and you are probably the same."

All true Unity
Is expressed
Within the modest humble
Silence
Whether it’s the unity
With one’s wife
In the privacy of their bedroom
Whether the unity when immersed
In a Mikvah
When one cannot speak
In the depths of the water
Whether the unity of a Jew
With His Creator
In the privacy of
His Amidah (Shemona Esrei)
Whether in the unity
Of the Holy of Holies
When the keruvim
Embrace
Each other
& in truth
In the silence of a Jew’s mind & heart
He is One with God
