Let me preface this question by saying that I am not in any way saying or giving opinions about learning away from home, or in Eretz Yisroel.
And I'll ask the oilam to please not get into those topics.
Just answer the question for yourself, if you can, with one word
Has learning away from home been detrimental to your kedusha, yes or no

Unclear, for me personally. Perhaps certain aspects got worse when I was away.

There was unfiltered internet in my home so it was actually more beneficial for me to be away from home

My problems were only at home and my struggle was only M. Please let us know whether this was sharing too many details.

I think for me overall would have been worse if I was home.

At home was unfiltered internet, that was where my falls were.

Not sure if it made much of a difference. My struggle is mostly M.

Home was more conducive to falling. had access that i didn’t have in yeshiva.(Fyi I don’t think that would be relevant anymore , as access is much more common wherever you are)

Eretz yisroel wasn’t as good. I didn’t  handle the freedom the best.

Home was worse.
What's the goal of this poll?

Eerie I'm not physically capable of one word answers. If I must: Both
lol.

Moreaccessto online contentathome, morefreedominyeshiva.

Except now I just remembered the tekufah where I got a hidden smartphone in yeshiva. Darn. I'm still sticking with both.

Wait I have a different one word answer: Depends.

Depends on the age, high school yeshiva exposed me to many things (that I eagerly "researched" at home), early bais medrash yeshiva gave me freedom to explore and indulge. But later on yeshiva was better for most of the time - less access and more torah.

I have heard from a few guys that the freedom they experienced, primarily in EY, the easy access to unfiltered internet it gave them access to, led them to fall deeper into the unhealthy behaviors. I have heard from some others that being in a place where there were many seminary girls wasn't good for them. I am trying to understand if these things are a general issue, or something that some people sometimes experienced.

I think the problem is common. I believe it depends mostly on the type of bachur, the type of Yeshiva, the roommates and whether there is oversight on the dorm.

It was much better for me to be away from my parents unfiltered devices.

Freedom for bochurim is such a terrible idea.
:pinch: Warning: Spoiler!

My impression was that my friends in high school who went to e"y for first year beis medrash were looking basically for freedom - "Town" was mentioned a lot more than whoever the first year rebbi is in Tomo. The better guys stayed in America. So perhaps in your survey take into account that first year bochurim and older bochurim are two different categories.
