I called them two weeks ago!
It's so interesting that aaabbb thought of this idea, too. 
They were not so excited about the idea, "organizational overlap", whatever that means. After shmoozing for a while, they said they'll think about it

Maybe you can suggest a speaker who will do one of their regular videos - and also mention gye? Or gye can have like a 15 second ad at the beginning of a video? Meaning don't take over a whole video about it but rather use their medium to promote an ad for gye?

Edit: I messaged them though their site suggesting it. If a couple people call or message (without bombarding or harassing them) maybe they'll take the idea seriously.

i've spoken to him at length. they are not looking to be associated with GYE. They see vayimaen as a typical every day person's struggle, while they see GYE as the resource for people who are struggling more severely. they are doing great work but i don't think that will be the avenue for us in the near future. they dont want to risk people confusing the divide.

This makes tons of sense.

Agav, many times their videos use the words guard your eyes. I think that's a valuable reference.

Let's remember, we might have ideas we think are great, but that doesn't obligate anyone else

On this thread and some others discussing ways of spreading awareness of GYE, the challenges, and the solutions there has been some distinct negativity towards people who clearly aren't buyin' into our ideas.

I think that we all need to take a step back for second and appreciate the perspective of someone who isn't on GYE, and doesn't need it either.
We tend to think that there are "tons" of people struggling and "if only they knew about GYE". I will be the first one not to deny the truth of that statement (the second one, at least).

The regular average yungerman, baal hayis, business man, etc. who just struggles with Shmiras Einayim doesn't necessarily know about the breadth or depth of the struggles out there, even though many people are struggling.
(Yes, I think that there are a lot of people who are blissfully unaware...just think about yourself in a slightly different position with an ever so slightly different life experience...I also understand that this isn't relevant to everyone.)
For them to hear such a message may not be the right thing at all.

For someone in a leadership or influential position (Rav, Rebbi, etc.) who isn't aware of the issues at hand, there is obviously a tremendous toeles in informing them of the struggle and the proper tools.
To me that doesn't mean that a vayimaen video going to some 60,000 people is the proper medium for spreading awareness.

Just because we are passionate about this, which is amazing, doesn't mean everyone else is wrong.
