I use to have @ at home but for the sake of my sobriety, through the past year I managed to disconnect the Internet at home and to change to a simple talk and text phone.
At work I have Filtered Internet and there is were I log on to GYE.
My work is not on the computer, so it makes me even harder to spend time on GYE.
It also wasn't easy for me to convince my wife to give up on the internet at home, but today she can come to my office at any time if she needs @.
I know that it's hard not to have @ at home, but life isn't easy and recovering is even harder.

So there are times that I need chizuk when I'm offline.
At home, on the way, waiting at the dentist, when I'm in bed and can't fall asleep.....

Having books with me isn't the best idea, my wife might see them
If she stills doesn't know that I'm struggling

Any suggestions?

I'm going to try to use my simple phone for chizuk. I just have to buy earphones.
I'll make a list of playback numbers, like this I'll be able to listen to shiurem and chizuk on the phone when ever I need a boost.

Why not use the phone to actually connect with a real live person on the other end

I do actually have a smartphone [kosherized] with the Kol Haloshon App I download a shiur and listen when in the car or by the dentist/doctor, they have a variety of shiurim in several languages.

Call in to one of the three daily gye phone confrences. And then people exchangs numbers all the time on those calls

ted - I wish I would be able to share a call, but all the 3 calls just don't fit with my work and family. I know I'm missing out but.

i know I could; I'm sure others can as well.

You can call someone from a blocked number and not tell him your name.
And believe whatever you do/done there are plenty of people that have done the same and worse

I wont make a phone to someone I don't know even with a blocked number.

Making a list of people to call is a great idea,
but what I'm looking now is a way of getting chizuk when I'm offline.
sometimes I need my corner and listen to a shiur.
I would like to ask from GYE to set up a phone number which people can call in and easily listen to all the old recorded shiurem (like on kol halashon)
