Two days ago I fell after 120 days.

It was not a "major" fall, but a fall nonetheless.

I looked at some erotic text material, but not images. I stopped pretty quickly. I felt that the "90 days" stopped my going into free fall.

What went wrong?

I was complacent about internet, not taking enough precautions

I have been craving for lust. I need to learn to crave for Hashem. That is where I am putting my main energies - learning to talk to Him, even if I went wrong.

In a way, I am almost happy about the fall - I feel that I need a new start, a new ascent.

Why am I reporting? I cannot put Web Chaver on my work computer, so you guys are my Web Chaver. I need to stay honest, not to escape. You are my guards!

Thank you to you all!

Hi Chaver (technically you are a Web Chaver),

thanks for sharing your fall. Im sure you would have rather not shared.

what do you mean by "In a way, I am almost happy about the fall - I feel that I need a new start, a new ascent."

Hi all.

I heard the following from R. Tzvi meir Zilberberg.

There is a great and successful individual ( there are many) who is in the field of helping kids at risk involved in all sorts of messes and problems , and hes based in the USA.
He met up with a similar counterpart of his that does the same in Israel.

When one of them asked the other what his secret was and did he have any " magic" weapons which helped him be the success that he was with the kids. He told him that he starts off with a book that is very life altering and one that he sees as achieving the best results.

The other leader was very interested as to which " secret" book that person was referring to. He proceeded to question him as to what amazing book did he discover that accomplishes so much? He was shocked to hear the answer. It was Maseches Bovo Kama.

In his state of disbelief he expressed his surprise. He suggested that of course that that was of no help to him with "his" extremely troubled kids with all sorts of addictions etc, and opined that his counterpart presumably has a group with way less severe problems and addictions than his own group.

He said - you have no idea what sort of trouble "my" group of troubled kids is.

The counterpart replied - "you have no idea what Bovo Kamo is".

A lovely shabbos to all my buddies here.

Thank you all for you're wonderful support.

Boruch Hashem, the last week has been pretty much lust free.

I know that this can be dangerous - I can lull myself into a sense of complacency.

In fact, last week I had just decided that I should stop "wasting" so much time on the forum - and then look what happened!

When I say that I am almost happy to have fallen, was that I was feeling that there was something missing in my "clean" streak. I was still having a lot of fantasies, and not avoiding triggering situations sufficiently. So falling was a way of jolting me into going up a level in keeping away from lust - in fact a higher level of being closer to Hashem. So I am counting again, on a higher level. Like another week in the Omer!

I am beginning to feel that I am "cracking" this. Don't worry, I don't believe that I am in control, or that I can [i]beat[i] this. I am beginning to understand to right approach. If lust looms, stay calm, try to feel Hashem, and the lust will retreat. No fighting, just submitting to Hashem.

Thank you again for all your help! It is really important for me to know that you are all there for me!
