This is the third step prayer which I am sure you are aware of. The parenthesis are my thoughts and questions during the recital yesterday of that prayer. Life lately, on my side of the pond, has a lot of suckiness to it, a lot.

Perhaps you or others can answer some of those questionsI that cropped up in the middle. 

Yada, yada, yada.....in the prayerI it states that victory over them willI show thy power, thy love, etc. That is not what I was prayin' for. I was reachin' out to Him in pain. I was bein' brutally honest. Remove these pains (and not the defects at this time), for I want them away, not for any other motive, simply, because it stinks. 

I am not a regular prayer stam throughout the day; I should be. But, at least, when the ship is sinkin', I reach out to Him and not the hallucinations of all those who stretched out their hands to me in the past, and there were many that were extremely soothin'I. 

And I thank you for allowin' me the opportunity to embellish.

I have to say, Cords, that I appreciate your posts. I know that when I first came on GYE I thought that the guys with a lot of days probably had no problems in their lives and everything was perfect. Even now, I tend to objectify people who have some time. So I think it's a good example for me, and especially for others.

I also know that sometimes I need to share something vulnerable, painful, or explicit and people assume that I'm not doing well. Sometimes I just need to share! I'm a freaking lust addict, I'm going to have some explicit shares sometimes. It doesn't mean that I feel like I'm going to act out every time. This isn't really about Cordnoy, but it's a public forum. Thanks for letting me spew.

you totally funcused me here...please clarify if i'm wrong

2.what questions the ? after some words?

also i was thinking all day about how i posted and need to apologize about the wording if i really thought  as i said and you said that you were crying out in pain i should have worded my post more carefully 

also i do not know anything about the 12 steps though it was obvious that this was a specific prayer...
