We can't import them since it's a completely different system. However, you can access them by logging in to the old forum. We don't plan on ever deleting them.

How to access the old forum? While it's true that plain www.guardyoureyes.org/forum redirects to the new forum, however, if you add anything to the URL it won't redirect. We did that so we can still access posts on the old forum with direct links (since we do plan on removing some of the outdated boards on the new forum). So if you put in www.guardyoureyes.org/forum/? for example, you can still access the old forum.

guard, the link take me to the old forum, but as soon as i login, it diverts me back to the new site! (so i cant get to my messages anymore)

This was fixed.

The pencil appears in the private chaat window, next to the member's name on top. I hope to make it animated soon, so it stands out more when the user is typing.

Either The Guard has succeeded in doing away with the yezer hora for arayos (unlikely - I saw a woman this morning and I'm sure the yetzer was still active) or most of the users of the old forum were all Nechemya Weberman posting under dozens of different user names and he doesn't have Internet in jail.
