I just have a request for the programmers.

If you are the only one in the chat room it is pretty lonely.
But I like to keep the chat room tab open in the hope that someone will show up to shmooze and I will be able to stop working and start shmoozing.

It would be usefful if the tab for the chat room would flash or something, whenever a new user logs in or something like that.
This way I could do my work without having to worry that maybe someone will check into the chat room and I will miss them.

People can have a 1 on 1 private chat, or a public chat... but there is no way to have 3-4 people privately unless they are in a special chatroom, which we can create for this purpose. For example, we can create a special room called "Dov's Group" where all members of Dov's group would be added into our system and be able to chat there privately. It is similar to the "Married" chatroom, which only married people can chat in.

By the way, have you tried the private chat feature yet? Is anyone having problems with it?

I've not tried private chat yet, but can't you have more than one private chats going on at once? Than you can do three people together, as long as you're connected "zugim zugim". Does that make any sense?

at 57 minutes past the hour, as I was chatting, I got like ten messages within two seconds:
Connection Error: 500, and then as I was playing with settings, changing sounds etc, it went on to a next page with the following message:

I tried it.

the connection on the new site untill it opens the chat screen is slow. but once i get to the chat screen, it works very well.
i tried both the privte chat and the public chat and it works well, fast, easy to use, the sounds are very good. momesh perfect.

Google chat has a option that in a private chat you can add people, so, 3 or 4 people can chat together privetely. I wonder if you can look into adding this feature here. Dov has a big group, but, there are many other small group working on getting clean together, i dont think GYE can affiord to make for every 3-4 people that ask a public group, so, the option of adding people to a private chat would be appreciated.

Since Gmail is the most popular for GYE users, small groups can use Google chat until GYE is fully functional.
If you use Yahoo, switch to Gmail now. It is must cleaner than Yahoo. No one is trending and you can log in and out without being subject to all the shmutz.

Still can't use private chat. Windows XP, IE8.

Just tried to log in to chatroom with firefox, got the following:
