Today, in honor of Rosh Chodesh, or maybe in honor of hitting 500 posts, whatever
HKBH sent me a present.
On the radio they have a weekly chasidishe vort (they use a different name but I never remember what its called)
So today the "Rebbe" got distracted and didnt say what he had prepared
instead he said something in honor of Yosef HaTzaddik's birthday (rosh chodesh tamuz)
(did u know that? i didn't.)
He said Yosef was 4 things: A חולם, a לוחם, a חומל, and a מוחל
notice the same 4 letters just switched around
חולם - he was not just a dreamer in the simple sense, he was a visionary
he had a clear vision of who he was supposed to be and what was necessary to achieve his goals.
לוחם - he knew what he wanted and he did what was necessary to achieve his goals
part of that was fighting his YH, and overcoming impossible challenges in kedusha.
(this is probably my biggest challenge in general, and specifically in kedusha inyanim,
which is why this vort was so meaningful to me)
חומל - He had mercy on others, he supported all those who were needy, especially his family
whom he took care of, despite his position of power, of which he could have taken advantage
and could have taken revenge.
which leads to being מוחל forgiving his brothers' attempt to dispose of him
and convincing them, and himself, that its all from HKBH
and that they did nothing to him, and have no reason to feel bad.

I actually had a remarkable victory
I had to meet with a lady, who in the past
was used by yours truly for fantasizing
BH I was under control b4 and after the meeting
and my eyes stayed in their sockets during the meeting as well
